Inside the Longhouse. There are modern toilets at one end and a modern kitchen at the other but the middle is authentic. We have to have the modern bits so we can let children come to sleep over on school trips. Its great fun, they cook authentic food over the fire and dress in Viking clothes and sleep on sheep skins and are kept warm by the fire. They even play Viking games in the evening.
